THE JOURNEY
It started with a single pot and a "Why not?" Tracy didn't just want to sell crab; she wanted to create an Alaskan ritual. Today, we're a Juneau staple, but that same grit and grease-under-the-fingernails spirit remains in every bucket we serve.
REAL TALK
Worth every single penny. The King's Bucket changed my entire understanding of what crab could be. I literally booked a second trip to Juneau just for this.

We got off the cruise ship and followed the line. Two hours later, covered in garlic butter, I knew this was the best meal of my life. Not even close.

Shipped the crab to our home in Chicago for Christmas dinner. My Italian grandmother said it was the best seafood she's ever had. That's the highest bar there is.

Before You Arrive
Everything you need to know before your first bucket of Bering Sea king crab.
Straight shot from the cruise ship dock. Follow the smell of butter and the sound of cracking shells.
Peak hours (11am–2pm, 5pm–7pm): 15–45 min. Off-peak: walk right up. Worth every second either way.
Communal picnic tables right on the water. You'll share a table and probably share stories too.
Loud, casual, high-energy. Oldies on the speakers, singing staff, and waterfront views. Not fine dining — fun dining.
Patented claw saw tool provided. Bibs available. Melted butter everywhere. That's the whole point.
Cash & card accepted (2.5% surcharge). 5% sales tax + 3% alcohol tax. Order at counter, listen for your name.
DOCK YOUR SHIP
Two spots on the downtown Juneau waterfront — both a short walk from the cruise dock. Come hungry.
